Within the intensely competitive world of gaming, it's common for emerging rivals to vanish as swiftly as they burst on to the landscape.

Yet the latest Battlefield is aiming to alter that.

It's the most recent addition in a long-standing military shooter line commonly framed as a more realistic answer to the CoD series.

The title has not quite been able to match its best-known opponent in regards of sales or players, but evidence points to the latest version could close the gap.

A trial event allowing users a chance to experience the release in recent months set new benchmarks, and the buzz heading into its release has been immense.

However the undertaking is nevertheless a big venture for company Electronic Arts, which has according to sources invested huge sums of dollars developing it.

Reporters have spoken to some of the makers to learn how they expect it will pay off.

Development Team and Developer Cooperation

Four development houses were creating the game under the unified development umbrella.

They include long-time developer Dice, located in Europe, California's Motive developers and the Canadian studio in Canada.

One more, the UK studio, is based in Guildford.

Rebecka Coutaz is the studio head of the both European developers, and explains to reporters that, in terms of what it's delivering players, "this new game is arguably unmatched."

Learning From Earlier Mistakes

The new release comes off the back of the sci-fi the last installment, launched previously to a negative response it found it hard to overcome.

"We most likely would not be able to build and design this new game without the learnings we acquired in Battlefield 2042," the manager tells us.

Among those takeaways was to engage the community engaged soon, and the studio launched closed community playtests not long ago.

This "response was incredibly favorable," states the manager.

Another missing ingredient from the last game was a solo experience, which has been reintroduced this time around.

The Guildford team project head Fas Salim is the person responsible for "guaranteeing those stages are as fun and compelling as can be for the audience."

Regardless of reports that the scale of the title had put a strain on the different developers collaborating across continents to build the title, he is positive about the work.

"Partnering with varied backgrounds, different experiences, it's a very fascinating atmosphere to be involved in every day," he shares.

"The complete approach has been something new but something really exciting because we are working with team members from internationally."

As for the anticipation on the team, the director comments: "We experience demand but also it's motivating.

"We're dealing with a large project. It's probably the biggest that most of us have before been involved in."

Emerging Artist Brings Innovative Perspective

This is absolutely correct of at least one staff, visual designer the artist.
