Dan Burn A nuisance from dead balls, as always, but may be another option to Stones at the back instead of paired with him. A loose pass after the break almost led to the first goal from the visitors. Six
Nico O’Reilly Another composed performance by the rising star after his initial appearance against Serbia. A teammate was unable to take the most of an exquisite touch behind the opposing backline. His position is firmly his so soon. 7/10
The newcomer His maiden beginning in an England shirt. A bit careless on the ball but his inswinging deliveries posed a danger. An effective tempo-setter for the coach to utilize versus sides that sit back. Shown a yellow for a poorly timed foul. 6/10
Declan Rice Set-pieces from corners and set-plays caused problems. Was given room to drift in left midfield yet found himself in an offside position as the pass came with a chance to score. Given a deserved substitution around the 60-minute point. 6/10
Jude Bellingham Operated in a high spot out wide while also put in the hard yards. Demonstrated moments of class and mishit a shot over. Substituted late on by a teammate, his rival, following a yellow card. Seven
Jarrod Bowen Had England’s top opening in the opening period, his effort excellently kept out by Thomas Strakosha. With Quansah hanging back, he had to provide width down the right side but his crosses into the box varied in quality. Substituted for the final quarter-hour. Six
Harry Kane The decisive figure scoring 77th and 78th finishes at international level. His first a classic opportunist's goal and the second an excellent headed goal having drifted away away from the opposition. Aged 32, he continues to improve with the national team are strong contenders in future competitions when he's in the team. 8/10
Eberechi Eze Found it tough to influence play from the left. Had a good opening following a pass by Bellingham but Strakosha kept it out. His replacement had a greater an impact in his place. 5
